Dr. Dibelius leads CVC’s private equity activities in the DACHI region, overseeing strategy, operations, and client relations from the firm’s Frankfurt office. With an illustrious career in investment banking and consulting, he previously served as Global Co-Chairman of Goldman Sachs’ Investment Banking Division, leading its German operations for 13 years, including a decade as sole CEO. Before joining Goldman Sachs, Dr. Dibelius was a Partner at McKinsey & Company.
He began his career in medicine, earning a Ph.D. in Medicine and practicing as a surgeon at renowned institutions in Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Freiburg before transitioning to finance.
