Patrick Frowein currently serves as the Head of Europe Investment Banking at Citi, a position held since 2023. Prior to this, Patrick joined Citi in London in2022 as Vice Chairman, Banking, Capital Markets & Advisory. Patrick started his career at Warburg/UBS and moved to Deutsche Bank in 2006 as EMEA Head of the Mobility sector. In 2012, Patrick was appointed EMEA Head of Industrials, where his sector oversight included Business Services, Diversified Industrials, Mobility, Aerospace & Defence, Construction & Building Materials, Paper & Packaging, Infrastructure, and Chemicals. From 2014 to 2017, Patrick served as Global Co-Head of Industrials. Patrick held the roles of Head of Investment Bank (Banking & Markets) DACH from 2017 to 2022 and concurrently, from 2020 to 2021, Co-Head EMEA Investment Banking Coverage and M&A. Patrick led the # 1 ranked EMEA Industrials as well as # 1 ranked German team for a number of years. Patrick has been involved in transactions significantly exceeding EUR100 billion mainly across the Industrials, TMT, and Healthcare sectors. Notable deals include Siemens Healthineers IPO and Siemens Energy spin, Stada sale, ZF/TRW acquisition, DT Fiber exit, Daimler Truck spin, Epiroc spin and Stanley Infra deal, the Knorr Bremse IPO. Patrick graduated from KIT (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology) with a Masters in Engineering and Economics.
